Greetings, I am buying a new hard disk, one of this two. Both are cheap, Toshiba drive is only 1.5$ more expensive than Seagate. Both of them are 7200 rpm, 1TB capacity but Seagate has 64mb cache, Toshiba has 32MB. Which drive is more reliable? I plan to use it as a main boot and storage disk. Thanks in advance

Good idea. As I've posted elsewhere on Tom's, Toshiba drives are notoriously bad for support and reliability. Mine died in 6 months, most report 2 years at best. Drives with model numbers purchased on Amazon, like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XK45S8B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1, do not even exist according to Toshiba, and they're the ones selling them. As a result, the "warranty" is a joke. Further, they put the entire onus on you for warranty service, insisting on static bags, packing to their specs, etc. Stay away from Toshiba.
