I installed this brand new SSD 5 or so days ago. been working perfectly fine and since yesterday it has now been making the games jumpy/not smooth what so ever. Also has effected the framed on games like BF4.
Not sure what has happened. Any help would be great.

C++:
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit

CPU
Intel Core i5 4670K @ 3.40GHz
Haswell 22nm Technology

RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)

Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z97-PRO (SOCKET 1150)

Graphics
23MP75 (1920x1080@60Hz)
23MP75 (1920x1080@60Hz)
4096MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (ASUStek Computer Inc)

Storage
931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1CH162 (SATA)
232GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB (SSD)

It just runs perfectly normal for say 3/4 mins then it would just go back to being jumpy/sluggish (on bf4)
Was at 100+ fps for the first couple mins then dropped to 30-50 with the jumpiness.
Whenever I restart my computer and boot up a game, after a couple mins of me playing it would then turn jumpy

Solution
Hey there, Channin.

Do you have any similar problem with any other games?
The procedure whenever there's a suspiciously acting drive is to backup any important data which you might have on it, just to be on the safe side. After that go ahead and run an SSD diagnostics tool to see if anything unusual pops-up. I'd also recommend that you try the drive with a different SATA cables and port, to see if the issue reoccurs. Also, check if there's an available firmware update for the SSD.
You could also check if the memory modules (RAM sticks) are properly seated. Try reinstalling/updating the GPU's drivers as well.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.
