Watch XBOX 360 on windows?

Im looking for a way to play my XBOX 360 by using my PC as a video input.
I would like to have that XBOX feed into a window on Windows that I could stream over Steam Broadcast or at the very least, be able to check my Steam and notifs while playing the game.

Any third party items that can do this?

I recommend the Elgato game capture hd (30fps) or elgato game capture hd60 (60fps). They're designed for consoles but support pretty much anything via HDMI at up to 1080p.

Do those play in real time?
Can I watch myself play the XBOX 360 on Windows?
I need to be able to record the gameplay in real time for a stream.

To answer your question, yes products like the Elgato do stream your Xbox 360 to your PC. If you wanted to stream that content to a website like Twitch for example, you could use a piece of software called OBS (https://obsproject.com/) it's free and will let you add overlays and webcam feeds.

So I can attach the Steam Overlay to my Console Output on Elgato using OBS?

No? I don't know why you'd want to do that anyways.

Steam overlay only works with steam games.

The Elgato won't make it a full screen game like a real PC game, it's just a video of it.

It won't prevent you from looking at steam either.

Maybe you just need a 2nd monitor.

I can attach Steam Overlay to alot of non-steam games.
Steam Overlay only requires a videofeed to latch onto.
But the general point is, does OBS turn Elgato into a windowed video?

Well, not windowed exactly, but it has a full screen preview mode. But it's probably just borderless windowed mode.

Elgato software may offer preview mode as well, but I don't have it to find out.
