hi, im new here. I just bought a extra new WD black hard drive and installed it on a older pc.
My older pc has a SSD for windows and another HDD for storage. So now I have total of 3 Drives.

If I want to play games on the old HDD and record videos using the new HDD, is it as simple as installing the programs on the respective drives? or is it a more complex method? if so can you teach me? thank you!

You can install games on whatever drives you want. For a recording program (something like fraps) you can just give it a folder directory where you want it to dump your recordings. It may cause the recording to take a heavier toll, but just read the faq's for whatever recording program you're using and you will be able to figure it out.
