how to install graphics card in HP PAvilion 500-260ea?

I'm tying to install a GTX 970 into my pavilion 500-260ea, but the card is too long to fit under the cradle unit that holds the DVD and HDD. I can't see a way to remove the cradle. Is there any way to remove it to fit the card?

I don't see any pictures of the interior of that specific model, but aside from the fact that the card does not fit, did you replace the power supply? The stock power supply will not run a 970.

Another thing, seeing how the system came with an A10 CPU, the CPU is a bit too slow to run with a GTX 970 anyway.

For that system you can get a 750 Ti Will fit, no need to change the power supply and will match the A10 CPU better.
