Hello! I bought this hardware:
Asus a68hm - K
Segotep ATX - 500WH
AMD Athlon 860k
8GB HyperX DDR3 Ram
Amd R7 360
I connected everything right , 4-pin connector for the CPU, the 24-pin motherboard, the 6-pin video card , hard disk coolers . The front panel(power button usb jack pins) are not connected because i broke them , I wanted to test if the system works and if power gets to the motherboard( I know pc doesn't turn on without the power button). Normal if you have the pc closed but with power supply on if you plug an usb mouse, the mouse lights up. My mouse doesn't lights up, i tried with other mouse and still don't work, i tried with another power supply and the same result. What is the problem? The motherboard is dead or on this motherboard mouse dont lit if is closed. I think the power don't get through motherboard. Should i get a new case and try with front panel connected if it boot? Please help me this is my first pc build and i don't know what to do, Sorry for the bad english.
