Building my first PC are these parts compatible/do i need anything else

Solution
everything is compatable, but you have some doubled up items that are better off boughta s a single larger item.

I swaped the 4x4GB RAM for 2x8GB, 2x 1 TB drives for 1 2TB drive, and the 2x 970s for a single 980ti. I also went with a higher quality XFX 650W Gold PSU.

It's compatible, save the budget case. I'd invest a little more into a quality case with cable management options. Additionally a better power supply in general with at least semi-modular cabling. Try something like this for quality reasons.

I'd also advise against buying two separate 8GB memory kits to prevent compatibility issues. Try a 2x8GB kit of your preferred brand. One last concern would be using two 1TB HDD's. That's your call of course, but I'd look into a single 2TB WD Black
