Looking to upgrade my graphics card

Hello!

I would like upgrade my graphics card to be able to play games like fallout 4. Here are my current specs:

Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 3870
Processor: ntel core 2 6300@1.86
mobo: Asus p5ql pro
Ram: 4 gb ddr2
Psu: earthwatts model ea-650.

What would be the best graphics card my computer could handle? Thank you!!!

Hi, your motherboard has PCIe-16x 2.0 which means you can support any modern card due to backwards compatability with 3.0. What is your budget for the GPU?

I would then recommend a GTX 960 for your budget which is very fair.

EVGA makes great graphics cards (I have one my self) and this card has 4 GB of memory and a great architecture for gaming/performance.

I will be purchasing this card in the near future to be honest.

I hope I don't sound like I work for EVGA. :/

The R9 380 Nitro, because it outperforms the GTX 960, and is in the same price bracket. (though in this case, the card I link is $25 cheaper than the evga)
