Crossfire isn't working correctly with MSI Afterburner.

Hi, just today I added a new R9 280 into my build. I'm running two of them now in crossfire, and they seem to be synchronized. Both are detected in MSI Afterburner, and there's not much problem...except for the fact I can't do anything with the secondary card.

I tried to set the core clock to the default for both cards, and threw them up against Dying Light in 1080p. It was the same performance as a single card, I checked Afterburner and the second card had 37 degrees celcius, so it wasn't being used at ALL.

Apparently the card not being used is stuck at the lowest possible Core Clock and Memory Clock. It's not contributing anything right now.

So how do I "activate" it...?

First time using Crossfire BTW not much experience, thanks for any help.

{EDIT} I installed the same correct drivers in both cards as well just to let you guys know.

Solution
Should be in the additional settings.

Your card is detected so the settings should be there, if not I would look at un-installing your driver again. Then using driver sweeper, or AMD's driver remover. Then reinstalling.
Double check the additional settings first, based on images online it seems it is there. Other images point to the gaming settings, crossfire X setting.

There should be a tab for it, try gaming. Then global settings. There may be a setting to enable crossfire there.
If you are using the AMD crimson drivers.

It should be in the gaming tab. If you can't find it go to preferences, then additional settings. Then have a look through there.

I can't be more specific since my 2nd GPU is out of my system at the moment, waiting for a power supply ;(

-good luck

Hmmm...

I can't find Catalyst! I updated to Crimson, and now all the Catalyst drivers seem to be off the face of the planet. I looked through Crimson, and it's detecting my second card, but no options for "enabling crossfire" or anything like that.
