Hello,

I'm new on the forum and this is my first custom built pc.

http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/fCKqTW

Is everything compatible? And how would this be for gaming? Or it's better to go with intel and only 1 fury? Because I dont have budget big enough for intel +2 fury's. Or is Nvidia better? My friend who knows alot about PC said that he would rather have i3 for gaming than AMD. and another friend that has FX 8350(4.ghz 8 core) says that it's the best CPU ever. So i'm in the dillema here, because i dont know much about PC's. I still have c2d e8400 with 4gb ram and gtx 260. Can I get anything better than that for 2000€? I will be mostly using it for gaming and I always wanted to try out youtube with gameplays and maybe streaming :D

thanks guys!

AMD CPUs have more weaker cores, and Intel CPUs have less stronger cores. Intel's CPUs always have a higher price tag, but they use less energy(they are cooler also) and they give better stock performance.

In short: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2253867/choosing-processors-4690k-9370.html#13924328

An i5 or an i7 would be much better for your needs. You would need to change the motherboard though.

People on budget use AMD CPUs, people who do video rendering, streaming, high-end gaming and CPU intensive work use Intel CPUs.

This is around the same budget, and i would go for this build for multiple reasons.

1: A more powerfull CPU, on a 2k build i would always go for the intel route.
2: Better CPU Cooling.
3: 2x8GB of RAM. And it is DDR4, against your DDR3 in that build
4: More SSD capacity.

It does lack an DvD/cd drive, you would need another case since the H440 does not allow for that kind of drives.

Thanks for your answers guys!

just have a couple more questions. Is this i7 better? It has only 4 cores and 4.0ghz clock, my AMD had 8 cores and 4,7ghz isnt this better? Also is there maybe any cheaper SSD? 230€ is alot for 500gb and also I need case with Optical drive, because I had slow internet only 4mb/s and it would take around 2 days to download GTA 5 from rockstar social club. I have a lot of games on DVD's so I need DVD drive. Is 750w enough for this kind of build?

Of course that the i7 is better. More cores and higher clock speed do not mean better performance.

What about the case then? Is that HAF X good? I always wanted that case and my friend has it and it says it's the best case ever and he had many cases as far as i remember.

This would take some beating if your want to spend the full €2000....
At this price point definitely go Intel and NVIDIA

sorry, i read the question wrong. if your planning on getting an intel motherboard, you have to get a intel cpu. if you going to get a amd motherboard, then you have to get a amd cpu. Intel cpus are PINLESS(dont have pins sticking out on the bottom) and amd cpus are pinned(has pins sticking out at the bottom). Now, Intel motherboards have pins sticking out of the place where you put the cpu on and amd mother boards dont have pins sticking out of the cpu spot. so, you stick in the intel cpu (pinless) into the intel motherboard (pinned). If you go with AMD, you stick the amd cpu (pinned) into the amd cpu(pinless). HOPED THIS HELPED
