New water build. I need case help

I need some help in deciding which case I want to put it in. Im torn between the NZXT H440 and the Corsair 750D. I currently have a NZXT switch 810 rig and it is quite large and I am looking to downsize without sacrificing much in ability. I am not afraid of modding the case as long as I'm not paying $200 for something I am just going to hack apart. Any input to this would be great or any possible alternatives would be appreciated.

Judging by the avatar and your mention of modding the case, I assume you're talking about a custom loop and not a closed loop. Personally, I love my H440 to death. I went with the Kraken x61 mainly for the programmable LEDs on the pump, but the case has helped keep the rig quiet. I hear more noise from the wind whipping over my basement windows than I do from the tower that's 3 feet to my left. The sound dampening foam on the management side is nice but you 'll need to do your part in the management to make it looks nice and keep things from bunching up to close the case with as much ease as the first time you opened it. I don't remember all the changes they made to the new H440, but I would still get another in a heart beat... and eventually will to rehouse my girlfriends PC.

I have a link up in my sig that has a few pictures if you need to look at a few. I wanted to eventually get around to mod the shroud to replace the NZXT lit logo with my own, but I honestly don't have he time or resources to look at it any more, so maybe next build.

Would you be able to provide me with a measurement from the bottom of the case to the top from the inside? Essentially the height of back of the HDD rack? (the side that faces the window).

Ill try and get to that but I can't make a promise. As of late I don't even make it down to my PC till the weekends. Hell power went out last night when I thought "Fallout for an hour sounds good... or... not..."
