Hello everyone,
I'm building a PC (i5 4690k MSI gaming gtx 970 4GB) for the first time and I've been told not to mess around with OC a lot if I have no experience.
So I'm asking you to suggest me a good mobo (up to 115-120 USD but preferably cheaper).
I need just a little overclocking, not till max 4.5 or 4.6 ghz (whatever the max is). Plus it has to be red colored as the most of the pc components including the case will be red too.

My case is Zalman Z11+ HF1 edition.
Cooler: Hyper 212
Thanks!

Yes this motherboard will support any single nVidia GPU or up to 2 AMD GPUs.

Keep in mind this means you won't be able to have 2 nVidia graphics cards in SLI but you will be able to do 2-way Crossfire (AMD cards). If you have a 850W (or more) power supply (or plan to get one), it may be worth getting an...

I was planning to get a 650 W as I heard its more than enough for that build. But since you mentioned 850w I'll look for something with bigger W-age now. thanks.

If you give me a budget I can help you find a good PSU too.

650W is indeed enough for just a 970 but for one or more R9 390s you'll need more.

Do you think 650W will be enough for for i5 4690k noob overclocking, and maybe an MSI R9 380 4GB? The budget for the PSU is around 50-70 british pounds but I can spend a little more if the manufacturer is well-known for the quality.

Thanks that helps a lot, however my graphics card is not going to be the same. That's the issue here.

Admirable

A 970 will be fine on 550W or 600W, but an AMD R9 390 uses a lot more power....

Thanks very much!

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1850xxxb9 - 80 British pounds, decent PSU. You won't find a cheaper quality unit at that wattage. Will easily support any single graphics card and will also be able to support up to two R9 390s.

Checked that. Unfortunately is 120 british pounds for me instead of 80. Must be something with expensive shipping T_T

My bad, I checked Amazon. I hope AriaPC ships for free or at least cheap.
Thx!
