Does MSI R9 390 fit on ASRock Z97 Anniversary?

I'm concerned that my R9 390 won't fit properly into a Z97 due to how big the card is and how close the PCI 3.0 slot is to the RAM slots. I've just read of people having cards too big and it hitting the things that pop the RAM out, and this card is pretty big .

On my current mobo it fits fine since the PCI slot is significantly lower than the RAM slots, and even with how thick this card is it doesn't come close to hitting it. I'm planning on switching from my old AMD processor and mobo to an Intel chipset, and the Z97 Anniversary seems like the way to go... if my graphics card will fit.

Does anyone here use an MSI R9 390 with this mobo?

I don't have that GPU and I don't even use intel, however i can assure you your card will fit just fine. If you've worked with graphics cards as much as I have you can gauge how big something is by seeing a PCI slot next to it. On the Asrock Z97 the first two slots look questionable because i'm not sure how much the chipset behind it out crops, however the one on the very far edge of the motherboard can accommodate a large GPU with no problems. The better question now is can your case fit a large GPU. The fan base and chipset on the r9 390 is rather thick and faces toward the edge of the motherboard not toward the components, therefore you needn't worry about the motherboard you need to make sure your case has enough free space between the motherboard and vent parallel with the card. This card would never fit in my Micro-ATX but if you have something bigger you'll be fine.
