I just built my first PC. Everything seemed to go fine. Put everything together, installed Windows 10, installed drivers for motherboard, video card etc. Even downloaded Steam and played CS:GO for a couple of hours.
Then while simply browsing online my monitor lost input.
I pressed the reset button, the system seemed to reset but said that the PC did not start up properly. I tried again, same message. I then choose the option to shut down the PC.
Since then, when the PC is switched on the monitor receives no signal and no power seems to be going to my keyboard, mouse or microphone (all connected to USB).
However, when switched on the case and CPU cooler fans start up. The GPU fans do not.
I have tried reseating the GPU. Switching on with the GPU removed. Also, tried starting with only one stick of RAM installed.
No forums seemed to have someone with the exact same problem.
System Specs. (all brand new parts)
Intel Core i5 6600K
Asus Z170M Plus MATX mbd
Kingston Fury DDR4-2666 RAM (2x 4GB)
Sapphire Radeon R9 380 4GB Nitro
Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronce PSU
Windows 10
