Hey guys!
To start, I have 4GB x 4 Corsair Vengeance (red) RAM. This has been in Quad channel for quite some time with no issues...until now.
I recently installed a Corsair H105 water cooler and a 2nd EVGA GTX970 FTW 2.0 (SLI). I booted back up and everything was just about fine. The only issue is that 1/2 of my RAM isn't working. The BIOS doesn't see the RAM, Windows doesn't see the RAM, CPU-Z doesn't see the RAM. Have cycled each other ram with the working side of my DIMMS and all the RAM works fine.
Does anyone have any idea why 1/2 of my RAM slots would stop responding? I have linked a picture from my BIOs here that shows that it doesn't see the RAM. Keep in mind that is is plugged in.
