I had audio and video lag problems before and i tried multiple solutions(CC, dusting the whole PC), and then suddenly the problem disappeared(about a month ago) and came back maybe two days ago. Problem includes audio and video lag in browser and in full screen videos (Facebook, Twitch, You Tube).Scrolling while playing a video also results in lag. All of my drivers are updated and system was scanned. If you need more information please do tell. :wahoo:

Thank you!

Edit: 14.1 Anyone?

System info:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

I'm not 100% sure, but it's very likely that your system has filled up its complete RAM, and starts writing to the pagefile, wich slows down the system EXTREMELY. It could very well be your issue

Well I can try and buy another one, I'm just not sure if my motherboard has that much ram input. It is weird how the lagging stopped and then came back for no apparent reason.

Probably, in one situation your computer was running more programs or browser tabs or was basically somehow using enough RAM to have writing to the pagefile on your harddrive, which slows down the computer massively. A bit more RAM should do the job.
If I may ask, which motherboard do you have?

Thanks for trying to help! :)

My motherboard is Asus P5KPL/EPU and I'm using 64 bit version. Also i opened up my case and removed all the ram. I have 3x 1gb kingston dd2 800 and 1gb dd2 of some other manufacturer, so there are 4 slots. And if you think there's no other solution could you recommend some cheap but ok dd3 4 gb ram.

Edit: Also I'm planing to buy a new rig this year probably after summer so if I need new ram it would be great if I could use the same one in my new rig.

Morty the truth is:

I would not waste money in your current pc morty. Why morty? well, you're limited with your CPU and generation morty, also, your system don't allow to run DDR3 RAM AND its limited up to 4GB DDR2 morty. Thats means, you can't add more RAM to your system.

So, i would save some freedom bucks to build another pc, and about if you ram will work in your new pc, well, that depends of the MOBO, but i'm pretty sure it will not work. Sorry.

wubba lubba dub dub!!

I think your hardware is damage and needs to be tested or check just to see if your ram is still good some times that could be the case do a memory test in the bios.
