Hi guys i hope everyone is doing well.

Due to a recent bike accident, my trusty lenovo y580 ceased to exist, and i'm in search of a new laptop to use with will mainly be the Adobe suite (Illustrator,Photoshop,Premier,After and Flash) to give you some background this wouldn't be my main workstation as i have a PC at work (i7 4770, gtx 660ti, 8Gb Ram) but i would work on it (the laptop) a lot nonetheless, i would love to have some good battery life as i was tired of having to plug my lenovo only an hour after a 100% charge.

Ok, so i was wondering if the lack of performance of the i7 4510u (being a dual core and lower clock speed) is compensated with a good battery life? (i mean like a noticeable difference)

So far i have the these options

Hp Envy 15 K050la
i7 4510u, 8GB Ram, GT 840M, 15.6'' 1080p, Backlit keyboard

HP Pavilion 14-e018la
i7 4702MQ, 8GB Ram, Radeon HD 8670M, 14'' 720P

Asus K751lb
i7 5500u, 8gb Ram, 940M, 17'' 1080p, Backlit Keyboard

Asus Q550lf
I7 4500u, 8GB Ram, 745M, 15.6'' Touch 1080p, Backlit Keyboard

The only Quad core processor is the one that lacks more features, i'm really inclined to go with one of the i7 U processors but i'm afraid that the hit in performance is gonna be noticeable in a big way, i have an SSD that would change for whatever HDD that the laptop has, so that why i don't mention it.

I'm really overwhelmed by all of this and i wanted your opinion on the subject.

Tanks to everyone who takes the time to read and comment !

The quad core hyperthreaded 4702MQ will outperform all those dual cores by far. But the graphics chip is weaker than all the others.

I would probably choose the Asus K751lb, due to having the best graphics chip and the second best CPU. It also has a 17'' screen which is a nice addition as well.

The U series processors, however do consume quite a bit less energy than the normal chips. So that would indeed mean better battery life.
