I am new in the company and when I got here I found that they had no server.
I need specs for good server for our small company.
We currently have 24 PC users but we expect to be 30 by June this.
Since there has never been a server installed in the office, I have no idea what kind of specs I need:

How many drives?
What capacity drives?
What raid configuration?
How much ram?
Which server software?
What other software?

I need help from some experienced IT Professionals.

Since it will be a domain controller, the software is already identified as Windows Server. AccPac requires SQL Server. Both of these functions really want TWO servers for reliability. You should always have a primary domain controller and a backup domain controller. Because if your PDC is down (without a BDC) nobody is logging in....

AccPac has a system requirements document -- http://www.acctech.biz/AccTech/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Accpac-6.0-Compatibility-Guide.pdf It recommends multiple RAID volumes of different types. That usually requires a hardware RAID card.

I am going to create a Windows domain, so it's going to be a DC.
I am going to create Folders for the 5 Departments to back up to. I am not sure how much space each department is going to require?
I am going to run AccPacc from it.

You might be best to contact a local IT reseller that can offer maintenance support and offsite backup for a basic Windows 2012 R2 server. Especially if the business is set to increase in size in the future. This will save you a lot of time, money, and stress if things go wrong, and they usually do at some point.
