I'm using 1TB western digital external disk. I have been using it since 5 years without any problem. Suddenly when I tried to copy some data (bulk data) from the disk to laptop, it starts fast and then freezes in the middle. Even the cancelling of the copy is not working for 10-15 minutes. I have to unplug the disk. Whereas when I connect I could see the data inside the disk and also I can open files individually from laptop for editing. Kindly help me in recovering the data.
