kyocera 6021 gives a paper jam error when there is no jam

Two possible issues:
1) There is a paper jam, which you just can't see. Maybe a torn piece of paper or for tray type printers the tray loader.
2) The error is actually wrong and it's a software or hardware failure that just looks like a paper jam.
Try checking again to see if it's a jam or not
