Well i can get a r9 290x with a Heat Killer GPU 3X for 340CND " if i get this what parts do i need to complete the gpu water cool" or a r9 390 for 470 CND

what would be the best bang for the buck and how much would if cost to complete a water cooler system

Solution
All the currently available CPU blocks will fit the currently available sockets, although a few may need you to purchase an additional mounting kit when swapping from AMD to Intel, check the specs before making a purchase.

Going full liquid (even ignoring the CPU) is going to be expensive and time consuming, you'll easily be into $250 (USA currency), my CPU/GPU loop set me back on the region of 250 pounds (UK) but it was either go that route or dump my R9 290 so for me it was the best option but in your case I think your best bet will be to go for the new R9 390, it'll work out cheaper overall, you'll have a solid warranty to call on if things go bad and it's a far, far simpler soloution.

ima total noob at watercooling but i was wondering can you do a closed loop with the Heat Killer GPU 3X or will it have to be a custom loop also the 290x does come with the stock cooler so would it be worth it to by that card and just sell the Heat Killer GPU 3X water cooler and just use then stock cooler or buy a new 390

yea the guy that selling has the water cooled one on but also comes with stock cooler, so 290x would be better for the price then ?

Exactly which air cooler is he offering?
The original single fan reference cooler is terrible, devastatingly loud it can hit 95C under load, causing the card to throttle (slow down to keep itself within the 95C max operating range). Even the big triple fan air coolers can have problems with this card in hot climates or cases with less than stellar airflow.

so the 130 dollars more is worth it?

Yes.
Better cooler and you'll get a full warranty, and, TBH, if I was spending that much cash I'd want that warranty.

The other alternative is to get the card with its waterblock (good block BTW) and go full liquid, including the CPU, but putting together a custom full loop can be expensive and it's s steep learning curve.

the card comes with the watercool waterblock and the reference cooler but i was wonder how much would it be to do a loop just the gpu because i need to upgrade my cpu still (dont have money for that yet) and dont want to go intoa full loop and have to buy anew cpu waterblock after right if i switch form this amd chipset to a intell?
