I'm gonna build my own gaming PC with this specification and parts. Please tell me if parts are compatible and ok. I'm trying to build a PC that would really last for years and catch up with the games of the future. feel to suggest for changing parts or whatsoever. kinda newbie for building PC's

Motherboard: Gigabye GA-Z170X-Gaming 7
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4GB
Cooling System: Corsiar Hydro Series™ H100i Extreme Performance
Power-supply: Seasonic Platinum 660W
Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2666
Hard-drive: Seagate 2TB Barracuda 7200rpm
SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
Chasis: NZXT H440
Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB CherryMX Red
Mouse: Razer Mamba Chroma 2015

Solid build mate - I would suggest swapping that 660w platinum for a 750w gold rated evga GS or g2.
2 years down the line if anything the component that won't quite cut it any more will be the GPU absolutely.

750w gives you plenty more headroom for a sli config then - 660w is kinda pushing it a little close.
Personally what I would do is get a cheaper motherboard, even gaming 3 is more than enough, basically has the same features as gaming 7 but is cheaper. I would get a gold instead of platinum PSU, no point is one so expensive. I would get an evo 212, way cheaper, similar performance. I would go for 2tb hdd to 1tb hdd, I would drop the SSD size to 250gb, I would get a bit cheaper case like Define s or define r4, has pretty similar performance. I would get a bit cheaper keyboard and headset and mouse, which still perform great, and with the saved money I would invest a bit more and get a gtx 980 ti which will provide way, way more.

Hello,
The System is Great and compatible but in my Opinion you can save money in some parts that are way to overkill and maybe Therefor upgrade the GPU or the CPU. I Mean the Seasonic Paltinum 660W is a awesome PSU but in my Opinion too overkill for the System if you are not planning to do SLI Configuration. The PSU would perfectly fit with a 980Ti but not with a 970 i would suggest you if you are up for Seasonic the 550 Watt Seasonic G Series Modular 80+ Gold which cost around 50$ less and i would also recommend you using a 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4-2666 DIMM which cost around 60$ less and you wouldn´t even recognize the diffrence because its so small to even not recognizable. You can easily than upgrade to an i7 6700K because you would save around 100-120$ depends on in which country you live.(BTW i live in Germany). Other parts are nicely choosed in my Opinion, and its uo to you if you want to save some bucks and upgrade the CPU or even choose a 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD and upgrade maybe to an 980 or even a 980Ti. I mean the changes i recommended you are not effecting the Performance anyway and i think the System you choosee is too expensive for the money you can get.

Hope i could help you out a bit.

Well, a gaming system good for 'years' is a tough one to predict. 6 months for now there'll be some new game pushing some crazy new graphics that everyone will want to run at ultra-super-duper settings.
That being said if you don't mind backing off on setting over the next few yours your system looks great near term and should perform fine for several years, again depending on what you are comfortable living with.

As far as getting cheaper cases, power supplies and other what I consider 'long term' PC parts I wouldn't worry about overkill.
I spent a decent fortune on my case nearly 10 years ago and I am still using it today through at least 4 builds since it's purchase. The modular design, filters, large slow rpm fans and sound deadening work just as well now as they did then.
Same with the power supply, I bought it more than 8 years ago, a 1000 watt supply, still using it and still works fine. I check voltages with a meter between builds but haven't see any issues at all.

So, IMHO, it's OK to spend a little more on items that you know you will use through many builds to come as it will actually save you money in the long run.

Thanks guys for the opinions and suggestions. The reason why I actually made made sort of "overkill" for it to be again upgraded for the future. Like kurdain said, it would actually be cheaper in a long term. Anyway still open for suggestion for me still scout more "can be" cheaper parts. and also I'm kind of looking parts also which looks sexy :)
