computer acts as if alt key is held down constantly

this has been going on for a while, sometimes, seemingly at random, my computer will start to act as if the alt key is constantly held down, even when i dont touch that key at all, and so far the only fix i,ve found is to restart the computer, at which point it'll work as normal, at least until the problem comes back, which can be once or twice a day, or even not at all. if anyone has ideas or knows a permanent fix to this problem, please let me know

It's called sticky keys, and you can turn it off in the accessibility section of the control panel. When it comes back, try pressing the key five times in quick succession, and it should dis-engage.

Also note that that keyboard is NOT Windows compatible, and should be replaced for best performance.

what keyboard is it? some have a function where holding down the ctrl or alt key for a short time will toggle the function. i believe Windows has this feature built-in also.
check if you can find and turn off this type of feature. Control-Panel > Keyboard
