Hi guys, sorry that I am asking about an issue that comes up a lot but I am having difficulty.
From what I understand by brief googling black bars around the screen is caused either by having the wrong resolution set or an overscan issue.
My problem is that having determined that the screen resolution is correct I cannot find a way to adjust overscan due to the graphics card being a legacy product.
The previous monitor for my dads pc was a U2312 which my dad said I should have so the my main monitor and second monitor match.
He got my monitor the AOC ITC2367
Since the monitor change there are black bars around the screen I believe this is because previously the dell did not use HDMI whereas the AOC does which has caused the issue.
However since the graphics card is one of my old ones a ATI Radeon HD4600 I am struggling to find where to adjust the overscan. Posts I have glanced at indicate that it is in the catalyst control centre, but I have not been able to access catalyst control centre, when I install a version through AMDs website it does not load up properly on the computer. I believe this is because there are no drivers for Windows 10 and so the lates catalyst control centres don't support he graphics card and the legacy CCC do not play nice with Windows 10.
Any ideas how to solve the issue, other than throw money at a new card.
