Basically in my current setup i have a 2GB GEFORCE GTX 750 Ti graphics card, now I know that this card does not support sLi so i know I cant run the 2 cards in sLi however i wanted to know to know if it would be possible to have both cards in my pc at the same time and have the drivers on both fully functioning and installed or whether this wouldn't be possible.

Thanks in advance, Dario

P.S. i state again I KNOW THE 2GB GEFORCE GTX 750 Ti DOES NOT SUPPORT SLI I just want to know whether i would be able to have both cards in my rig at the same time with both cards drivers installed, as i have 2 monitors so was thinking to run one graphics card to one and the other card to the other monitor.

any advice / tips / suggestions and answers will be greatly appreciated!

Solution
Yep, entirely possible.
You can either have the 750Ti run a second monitor, or have it compute physx for the 970. (The former being more useful than the latter)

Thanks Guys! So how would I go about allowing the 750 to process the calculations for the Physx for the games that would allow it to do so? And gam3r01 are you saying it would be better to use the graphics card to run my second monitor rather than use it to compute for the Physx?

Personally I would rather have a second monitor than a dedicated PhysX card. But to setup the second card as a dedicated PhysX card the setting should be in the Nvidia control panel settings.

I would think all he would have to do is change the setting in the Nvidia control panel anytime he is playing a game that uses PhysX. Kinda a pain in the butt but definitely doable IMO.. I wonder if there is a way to have it automatically change depending on what progam/game you run with gaming profiles or something like that.

Thanks again for the replies guys! Just a quick question I've thought of none of the driver software will clash will it? Like I'll be fine to install both sets of driver etc.. And I'm going to look a bit deeper into this whole Physx idea and see what it's about, do a bit of research and then decide what to do with that card! Thanks for all the replies though, you guys's have helped me out once again!

They are both Nvida so they actually might be able to use the exact same driver version and installer.
