I recently built this pc and everything has gone fine until today.
I'm running windows 7 home 64 bit.
So tonight when I turned on my computer it booted to the system repair screen. I thought my os might have corrupted, so i let it try to revert my computer to an earlier state, but it was unable to do so. I then turned off and turned on my computer and it booted and now seems to be working fine. IS it ok? Should I be worried? One explanation I can think of this is today I turned on my computer just to show the leds to a friend and then instantly hit the power button again to turn it off before it booted. Could this be causeing the issue? Thanks in advance.
P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I was unsure where to put it.

Solution
If everything is fine now and your files are not corrupt, then there is nothing to worry about.

There could be a hundred reason why it went to system repair, but turning off the system before it boot into Windows won't be one of them.

If you're really unsure and want to know why, look for dump files in your Windows installation folder.
