I have just built my first computer and I don't have too much knowledge over building pcs and I plan to use a usb thumb drive to install the os and drivers.

In what order do I boot the os, launch the bios, and instal drivers?
Really, would you just explain the rest of the process for me?

the easiest way for me has always been:
install Windows on a freshly formatted disk
install all updated motherboard and other hardware drivers
update the BIOS if it needs it
then do any manual BIOS tweaking you need/want

the only problem is that some people have had issues with their USB devices not working until they've installed the motherboard's USB drivers. so then they need a dvd version of Windows to install first.

you shouldn't need a thumb drive for the drivers. it's always best to go directly to the manufacturer's product page and download the latest driver versions. then just install them from the hard disk you downloaded them to.
