Just a little info about my system
- Asus Z87pro mb
-Seasonic gold 600W PSU

After recently cleaning out my PC, I plugged it back in, and then smelt a burning smells kinda like rubber. When I tried turning it on the mb would make a peeb, and my HDD, and all the fans powered on,for a second then it turned off for about 3 seconds, and kept repeating.

A realised that in my tiered slumber I had put the cpu fan in the wrong place, and that a sata cable had been trapped underneath, after fixing this the same problem happened. I unplugged everything from my MB, except for RAM, CPU, CPU and fan I also checked the back of the MB to see if I could see any scorching, which I didn't.

So I powered it back on and still the same issue. The burnt smell definitely is not coming from the PSU, but rather the MB. Did I fry it? Can I fix it?

To fix it , first open case of your PC . And take a look witch part is burned . Bring it to its offical technical service .
