Hey guys! I'm trying to get a low end video card that can run some newer games at 720p so it won't bottleneck my monitor. I'm only going to use the card for about a year and a half until I can save up enough to build myself a proper gaming PC. There is a deal at my local Memory express for a r7 250x @ 90 dollars canadian but my friend reccommanded me to get the gtx 750 which is sitting around at 130$. So my question is if the gtx 750 is worth 40 dollars more than the 250x?

If you are only needing to run games in 720p for a little while till you build a better PC then maybe you should just get one of the AMD APU's (at least the A10 7700K). Or get an older or cheaper but still good GPU. The reason the A10 7700K would be better is its only $110 and it is an R7 250 and a Quad Core CPU combined.
