Case fan makes a loud spinning noise?

I know "spinning noise" isn't a great description, but it's kinda roaring. I mean my fans are 99% of the time really quite, but as of recently, the fan on the side of my case (I have a see-through side). To be a little bit more specific, it's directly on that see-through side. And it's driving me INSANE. The odd thing is, if I tap the side of the computer, it goes silent again for about 20 seconds, then it goes to a soft roar, then it starts to sound like stuttering the "roar", until it eventually speeds up to a constant noise.

it could be a dodgy fan or reverberation /vibration with the case frame. In the past ive put a 5kg weight lifting plate on top to damp vibration and stop the noise
when its noisy, push the case down. if that stops the noise then the fan is fine.

If fan is dodgy replace it with a noctua, theyre the highest quality you can get.

Yeah so pushing down on the side seems to stop the fan from making the noise, but how do I continue that? Considering it is on the side it's not like I can defy physics. (Although I would very much like that)

Good point. I have a fan on the bottom, and on the back. There is a built in CPU fan and built in power supply fan, so would those 4 be enough?
