So, I just built a new computer, and I am experiencing it freezing completely, solved only by doing a hard reset. I have looked up everything, and I can't pinpoint the problem. Any help would be much appreciates. I really don't think heat is the issue

CPU-AMD FX 9590 20 to 35 degrees Celsius

Motherboard- Asus Crosshair V Formula Z - 15 to 20 degrees

Graphics Card- MSI GTX 960 4GB

Cooling- Noctua NH D14

PSU- Raidmax 1000w 80+ Gold

Ram- G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory

Ram tested out with no issues.

Storage-Hitachi 7200rpm 2tb sata 3

OS- Windows 10 PRO 64bit

I am pretty sure the cpu is the culprit, but the temperature is stable and we'll within the appropriate limits. My motherboard is updated to the newest firmware, so it has full support for the 9590. What can I do to prevent this freezing?

Almost positive its the Cpu, and those temperatures are NOT right. in HWmonitor dont use the 'Fx 9590' temp sensor, your motherboard should have a socket sensor and there should be a sensor for the CPU right next to the socket one that is the actual accurate one. That Cpu is notorious for being unstable even out of factory. When youre booting up mash Delete key to get into your bios and adjust your advanced settings or 'Ai tweaker' or whatever to get to the CPU ratio. If im not mistaken the cpu ratio is in the 20s and the bus speed is at 200? Well I would set your cpu ratio from whatever its at (23.5 right? Idk.)
Set it down by 1.5 and save and apply and try and see if the system doesnt crash. and also getting the realistic temps would be nice as theres no way in hell youre getting 20c on that chip.

Yeah I found that the Temps were wrong like you said, it is actually 30 to 50. Mostly it is around the low 40s. Can you go over your instructions again? What should I change the bus speed to? It is at 200 right now. Also is there anything else I should do?

Keep your bus speed at whatever its at. But when you turn on your computer keep pressing the Del key to get into your motherboard's bios. On most motherboards you go into advanced settings and then AI Tweaker.
You should find a setting called "Cpu Ratio" change whatever value thats at Down by 1.5 and see if your system is stable.
Basically we're lowering the CPUs clock speed to see if its being pushed to hard from stock.
