I have tried all the suggestions I could find that are relevant on the forum but my 2600k still keeps throttling when the temp reaches 72C. I noticed that this CPU's spec for maximum temperature is 72C but there is no over temperature protection function in the bios that I can disable.
What I have done:
1. Disable all power saving functions in the BIOS. (Speed Step, C1, C3, EUP)
2. Set CPU multiplier to 34.
3. Set power options to high performance and set min. CPU cycle to 100%.
Is there anything else I can change?
