-----------------UPDATE----------------

So I am able to get online through the use of Intel's lan drivers, but I cannot update any of the motherboard drivers through Asus's website. I run the setup and keep getting the error that it "Does not support this operation system."

Help please.

---------------------------------------------

New system booted but cannot install lan drivers.

Have asus pro gaming no no. Downloaded lan drivers from asus site. I get an error when trying to install: does not support this operating system want 10.0hue

I have windows 10.
Can anyone help please. Sorry for the crude typing. I am doing this on my phone.

Did you install the chipset drivers? It doesn't make sense that you have issues when installing drivers; contact Asus support because Windows 10 is supported. I run it on older systems without issues and I had no problems installing the drivers. It certainly is easier than Windows Server 2012 R2.

Sorry, should have specified that I have an H170 pro Gaming board.

So I got home and installed one of the intel drivers. It's called Pro Winx60. That managed to get my internet connection to work so thank you for that.

But now that I have another problem, none of the drivers from the asus site works. Whenever I try to set up the drivers for the mobo, chipset, audio, whatever, it keeps giving me that same error: does not support this operating system.

Does this board not support windows 10 at all or something? I'm still new to this so nay help is appreciated.

Yeah, I'll call them. None of the drivers on that site work for me. After I installed windows, the lan was the first one that i tried to get. Since that did not work, I installed them from intel's site. I went back to asus and tried to download the rest of the driver (chipset, audio, sata....) none of them worked.

I also had the same problem during the installation, none of the drivers from the ASUS website would work. It's saying something like win 10x64 is not supported. So I cut the crap and bought an external slim DVD drive for $30 and have the installation disc run. No problem encountered. I have this weird feeling that the one on the website is for 32bit and not for 64 bit. Or its missing something down the line.
