I have seen this thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2592770/building-computer-cpu-cooler-ing.html?xtor=EREC-8889

But i still have a doubt.
My specs are:
Processor: I5 4460 (stock cooler and Z5 deepcool thermal grease);
RAM: 8 GB ram - Hyper-X;
Motherboard: H97M-G43;
GPU: PNY GTX 970 4gb;
Case: Thermaltake V3 Black;
- 1 Fan Close do the CPU blowing out the CPU heat;
(ask me for pictures if you need)

So, i dont want to OC... just want to play games such Star Wars battlefront, crysis 3, Ark: survival, etc, on Ultra, without heatig too much my hardware.. i dont want to worry about burning my hardware.
So, do i need a better cooler for my CPU?
OBS: Sorry for bad english, i'm Brazilian!

Solution

Those are very good temperatures.
You shouldn't, the stock cooler is fine for most applications. Monitor your temps after you get it running, and if the temps are too high, you can add a better cooler later. There are built in features on the processor which will throttle the CPU speed or shut it down if the processor gets too hot, to prevent damage.

No. you were told last thread.
The stock intel already has paste applied. You didnt need any funky 3rd party stuff.

If you applied the paste i hope you removed the stock paste of the cooler first.

Its intel. Intel stuff works as intended unless overclocking (which is outside of specification). What does enterprise (major business) use? - Intel with stock cooling. (granted in air conditioned rooms)
Always avoid AMD and dont worry about fancy 'enthusiast' bullshit.

I removed the old stock paste... i was told to pick up a new CPU cooler by a guy from other forum, but had my doubts... and look for other opinion in here!
I put the new paste because the stock paste was used for more than 1 year!

Yeah... i was worried for nothing! But now i'm sure to keep using the stock cooler!
I guess the guy that told me to buy a new cooler overreacted!
Thanks for the help! ;D

Yeah!
I'm not a pro on hardware, but the little knowledge i have show that hardware its made for working in heat.. it's normal producing heat when playing!
But some people have an extreme fear of CPU heat, that i started to think: "Am i wrong?" aushaushauh
But thanks for you guys answers i'm not confuse anymore!
