It's up to and your preference. If you don't like the 0db mode then you can set a custom fan profile to have it run at a very low speed until your set desired temp.
The card itself is fine running without the fan on under 60c.

The EVGA cards have great cooling, adequate at factory fan speeds. I left my fans to not turn on until the 60c. You can boost them up if youd like but its not necessary unless you are overclocking it further. The EVGA software is ok, but most use MSI Afterburner if you plan to make any changes.
