ASUS M5A97 R2.0 USB Ports won't work

I currently started to build my own pc and i have purchased the motherboard i have installed it all but yet the USB ports connected to the motherboard do not seem to work. I have power going to my motherboard as the green LED turns on.

Which USB port are you talking about? Is this one of the USB ports on the back of the motherboard or is this one on the front of the case? If it is one on the front of the case then which case do you have? If it is one on the back of the motherboard then is it a specific one or are all of them not working? Also what is the Green LED labeled? (Many Green LEDs on computers)
