I'm looking to transfer an ISO file to my external hard drive (in link below) but my file explorer is unable to see the drive. I can not right click-send things to the drive, I can not see the drive on my drive list. I went into my device manager and it told me that everything is working correctly for this drive and its on its latest driver. The company that makes the drive claims that it has internal software on the drive so it can be used on the fly but I just can't see the damn drive. Can someone help me?

Hi there onlythefreshness,

You need to go to Disk Management and see whether and how is the drive recognized over there. It would be nice if you could post a screenshot.
If this is a new drive, you will need to initialize, partition and format it first.
In case it is not, you need to see if it has a letter assigned to it as CountMike Suggested.

Let us know how this goes,

Thank you for your suggestion. I ended up not having to use the hard drive because it ended up having sensitive data on it. I just used Drive Droid to format my Micro-SD card on my phone to host my Windows 8.1 iso. For all those reading, this is a solution if you own a android phone that can be rooted.
