Hard Disk priority keeps resetting after BIOS update

Hi guys,
Today I updated my AsRock FM2A88M Extreme4+ BIOS from P2.40 to p2.80. Ever since, my Hard Disk priority keeps resetting after every reboot, which is very annoying since that means I have to select my SSD every time I boot my PC.
I've tried disabling my S.M.A.R.T, but that's not it.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
Kind regards,
Kasper

Did you set the boot priority within the bios or only when it asked you at reboot? You can manually set the first, second and third boot devices within the bios. I usually disable 2 and 3 and select my SSD as 1.

try turning off csm in the bios and in the bios turn on efi and legicy boot in the bios. make sure the ssd can boot off of any of the bios settings. also in the bios under boot if it set to boot from windows boot partion first see if that system restore on the ssd or on any other drive.

I set the Boot order in my BIOS settings to 1 Hard drive, 2 & 3 disabled, and my hard drive priority to 1 SSD, 2 & 3 nothing, also inside the BIOS. Everything I change in the settings remains changed, except for the hard drive priority.

I updated it once using the instant flash option when starting the computer. So, from the BIOS.

I'm sorry, I couldn't find those options. I've looked under every section but it's not there.

No, I haven't, since every setting I change remains changed, except for the hard disk priority. If the battery is the failure, wouldn't all settings be reset?
