I've been lurking at this forum for quite a while and I've seen some people say that it will and others that not.

My setup:

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
CPU: AMD FX-8350
Cooler: Corsair H55
PSU: CS650M
+ 1 HD, 1 CD Drive and 3 Chasis fans.

My questions:
The PSU is a 650w 80+ Gold and it says it is made for SLI, so...
I know I can put a single GTX 970 without problems, but what about a 970 SLI? If not, maybe a 960 SLI? I'll be using Asus Strix variant for both options...

That is a very efficient (Gold) low performance PSU (really good tractor). I would want a high-performance (race car) PSU for a SLI gaming system.

SLI 970s will just run on 650W, but I would not use that CPU. SLI 960s would run more easily, but I would still not do it, and I would not SLI 960s either (I'd look for a refurbished/open box GTX 980 for about the same price and less power use)
