An ethernet connection is the only option in my college dorm room, but my laptop only receives limited connection when connected to the network. Friends say their wired connection is working just fine in other rooms, so that makes me think the problem could be some network setting on my laptop.
I'm running Windows 8, did ipconfig and this is the results:

I get "cannot connect to host" when i try to ping any website.
