I have a Dell Inspiron 560. I shut it off and moved it to another room. It will now not boot up.
The fans would come on for a second and then shut off.
I replaced the power supply.
Same result.
I replaced the switch
Same result.
I replaced the motherboard.
Same results.
I replaced the CPU
It fans run for about 45 seconds and then shut off.
The second try results in a quick turn and then a shut off.
If I let it sit for 5 minutes it will run for 30 seconds before a shut off.
I have redone the thermal paste twice with good coverage.
No change.
I tried it with each fan unplugged and had the same problem.
I am running out of solutions.
Any help would be appreciated.
