Hey guys, below is my system build and I have purchased everything except the video card and the HDD (I have the SSD). I was suggested the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card, but looking for other opinions, hopefully a little cheaper.

The Hard drive im thinking WD Black 2GB, however i read its a little on the loud side. The case does have sound deadening and im hoping it wont be too loud. Should i got with 2gb or 4gb? Or 2x 2gb hard drives? Thanks for any help!

Solution
If you are going for no gaming, the r9 390 is way more than enough! Go for it. Dont waste money on 980 or 980ti. Even the r9 380 would be plenty, but better get the 390.
If you have an ssd, the black is not worth it in my eyes. Just ged wd blue, the size depends on your needs, if you store a lot of data then go for 2tb,but anything beyond that is too much. On the gpu department, personally I would have went with cheaper, yet as good cpu, and gtx980ti but since it's too late for that, either go for r9 390 or just jump to gtx980ti.

If the gtx980ti is really worth the extra $250cad I might as well get it since this is already a $3k+ build for me and I want it to last for 8-10 years. Any specific model of the gtx980ti? I need 2 display ports for dual monitor. Thanks!

Well most models come with the display port. One of my favourites are the gigabyte gaming g1 but too xpensive unless on promo. Either the MSI model or the Asus Strix, any of them and you won't go wrong, but when it comes to performance they are pretty close by, still it's not worth to pay 100$ extra for the same chip just for slightly higher clock.

I wouldnt be doing ANY gaming whatsoever, this is strictly for photo/video editing. It feels like spending $900cad for a 980ti is a little overkill for me and wouldnt help me with my tasks. The R9 390 looks good and only $450cad. Is Asus Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card Strix, a good choice? And would this perform just as good as my initial choice of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card ?

Thanks!
