Hello all. I just bought a new case (NZXT s340) and when installing the SSD drives in the trays I have trouble connecting the power cables because of the layout of the SATA cables from my PSU. It's a Seasonic M12II EVO 620W.
They look like this:

I would need those connectors to be as flat as possible because the trays are so close to the surface below them. I also had the same problem with the sata III data cables that came with my motherboard, as one of them has a 90 degrees connector as well, that cannot go in the motherboard.
So I thought maybe the solution was to get a complete SATA socket extension.
This is what I would be getting:

My question is if these extensions are safe to use. I'll try to get one with the 5 wires, I think that one is fully functional, am I right?
The SSDs are Samsung 850 EVOs.

Thanks in advance for your answer and have a great 2016!
Greetings from Argentina, and sorry for my bad english, it's getting kind of rusty.

Solution
Yes, the extension cables are fine.
Seasonic make great quality PSUs, the most respected brand, but unfortunately their cables aren't as flexible as others. I had to squash mine to fit.

Thanks for your answer.
What about this Y splitter for the power connector only?

Is it safe to use that? Even though it seems to have only 4 wires (missing the 3.3V one I suppose). Do SSDs need that wire?
