OK so this is my first PC build I made sure everything is connected and plugged in correctly. especially the atx_12v and PCI 2 express. So what do I do? Nothing works. Only the HDD light showed up, and there is a slight whirring sound, but nothing works!

Most errors i have seen with people building a first system is motherboard mounting, i have had dozens of machines in my shop where they mounted the motherboard right to the back plate without using the stand offs.
Second most common error is putting all the stand offs in all the holes causing a short under the motherboard stopping it from working.
You need to check that for every hole in motherboard there is 1 stand off if the case shipped with them.

Brass standoffs:

Some cases have builtin standoffs like this:

If they have these you don't need brass standoffs unless there is not one under the hole of the motherboard.

In addition to checking out the link, you should change out your PSU with another known working PSU. Also if you don't already have your board inside the case. Take it out, test the entire setup outside the case to make sure the board isn't shorting. It might also be a good idea to reset your CMOS.

Hey, I think that's my problem! But I have no idea how to install it! Currently, the Mobo is uneven, clunky, and the standoffs are stuck to the screws. Its a mess! Can I have a detailed explanation on how to screw and install standffs? because the ones that come separately fit in the case but don't stay.

Did they come with the case? do you only have holes like bottom far right or do they have built in like picture on bottom middle?
the standoffs should be screwed in tight to back plate the motherboard must be even otherwise it can buckle and fracture.
The picture on the bottom middle if you have built in standoffs raised bump little flat at top DO NOT put a brass standoff on those.

Example case with builtin standoffs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTkGuioG5RU

Example case with brass standoffs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKFV0H-KVfY

ok, I have a case with NO built in standoffs, and I try to screw the standoffs as tights as I can, but the Mobo doesn't fit in all the brass standoffs, and that could be touching. Also, why do the standard screw get stuck in the standoffs? Only the separate standoffs tend get stuck and loose? Also, where do i put the MoBo speaker to beep where there is problems?

Unfortunately, I followed your instructions exactly, and the problem still persists. I plugged in the MoBo power, CPU power, and internal speaker, but there is no beep or anything. So I don't think it is with the screws. If I d't have a spare MoBo or PSU, what should I do?

Thank you, sir. The CMOS trick worked for me. May you and your family have good wealth for eternity
