I have a Dell Optiplex gx260 and am upgrading the processor. I bought this cpu:
Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz 800 MHz Socket 478 CPU General Features: 2.8 GHz clock speed 478-pin package
800MHz system bus 512KB L2 advanced transfer cache
I found that the gx260 only supports up to 533MHz cpus. Will it work? And will I have to underclock the processor?
