My Wifi/router/modem are all in check, and work perfectly, the only problem is my computer can't connect to Internet. I've tried using new Ethernet cables and restarting my modem and router but nothing seems to work. I don't have a network card so I have to connect through Ethernet. My computer recognizes that in plugged in but it tells me I'm getting no internet. Part of me thinks it's a virus because at one point I turned on my computer and it told me all my anti-virus had been disabled, I quickly turned it back on and ran a scan but nothing came up. Then I turned it on the next day and I left it on overnight on accident, I woke up to it telling me that Windows had updated in the fancy Windows 10 thing. Next thing i knew, no internet. It's been 2 days now and nothing has changed.

How do I get my computer to connect to the internet again?

As I follow your posting I doubt that it is a virus issue.

You do have a "network card" it just happens to be built into the motherboard.

What may have happened is that a new driver was installed and it is not configured correctly. Or the driver is not the correct driver for your built in ethernet adapter.

Go into Device Manager and find your network adapter. Run the troubleshooter to see if Windows 10 can find and fix the problem.

Failing that check the driver and download an update.

I ran the trouble shooter but seeing as I can't connect to the Internet, updating my driver might be a little tough, I'll try reinstalling it from the disc.
