Hi There,

I'm going to be building my first custom PC desktop in the next few days, the specs will be below, the only thing i'm struggling with is find a board that i'm going to use, the one i have in mind is... Asus Z97-P (ordering from Scan along with all of the other parts)

Hardware specs:
Corsair Carbide Spec 03 Gaming Case
EVGA GTX 960 2GB PCIE 3.0
Intel i7 4790k 4GHz
Corsair DDR3 Vengeance 16GB (X2 8GB)
Corsair VS550 550W Power Supply
1TB 3.5 HDD

If you can let me know if there will be any compatibility issues or whether there are better boards to have with this setup.
Cheers in Advance

Tom

I have the MSI z97-g45. I can tell you from experience that all those parts are supported and that it is a great board. Just so you know, that 550w is pretty small for a system like that.

The build will be mainly used for WOW on ultra as well as other various games MMOs and AAA titles. the advice so far has been great and im looking into 970 now and dropping the processor down a little too :)

I also compiled this up. It is really nice build. Great for gaming and web browsing.
