Big SSD's a BIG Problem?

Most people have around 120gb of SSD storage which is understandable, due to budget constraints. The thing is now that SSD prices are dropping for new buyers with a higher budget, there is quite the strange response from early adopters with lower capacity drives. I've seen situations where someone would have the budget for a higher storage capacity in an SSD but didn't end up going for it because they felt that since the majority was using 120gb drives or a friend just straight up told them not to because it would be stupid, they would not be treated equally by the community. It's strange but it's just something I've been noticing as of late. Is this something we are going to start seeing more of? Is it really a huge deal to have a big SSD?

*gasp* What!?!? Somebody's jealous of something somebody else has!?!? Video at 11!

If somebody bought a smaller SSD because they were concerned that another forum user would treat them differently, then they are an idiot.

My system has a Samsung 950 Pro 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD and a Crucial MX100 512GB SATA SSD, plus a Western Digital Caviar Black 5TB SATA HD and a Seagate Barracuda 3TB SATA HD ... at least until I sell the Crucial SSD and Seagate HD (see my ad in the Classified section). I've got 1TB of SSD. Big whoop. I've got 8TB of HD. Big whoop.

People should buy what they want; what makes them happy. What other people think doesn't matter.

You are absolutely right. I built a 5tb raid 5 for redundancy and speed but who gives a s**t. I did it because that's what i wanted and needed. Do what you can afford and want no one else matters on that. You only have to please yourself, the rest means nothing.

MINE IS BIGGER THAN YOURS!!! Seriously, that is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I am currently typing on a laptop with a 1TB Samsung 850 Pro in the primary bay and a 2TB 850 Pro in the secondary bay.

We live in a free country and should be able to buy whatever we want and drive whatever car we want. Forget about the envy crap and the world will be a better place.
