Disclaimer: I'm not certain if this is the correct forum to post this question so if I'm in the wrong section, please redirect me to the correct forum.

Problem: When I'm browsing certain sites, the browser slows down and I am unable to click on anything and then sometimes it eventually crashes with some shockwave error giving me the option to "stop plug-in".

Question: Why does it do this for both Firefox and Chrome (at varying times and only on certain websites)?

I recently upgraded my PC with brand new parts and, in my unprofessional opinion, I think its a decent PC that SHOULD be able to run most things flawlessly or, at the very least, decently.

The Specs: AMD FX-8350 / G. Skill Sniper 16Gb Ram / EVGA 1000W PSU / EVGA GTX 980 / Samsung 850 EVO 500 Gb / MSI 970 Mobo.

The Culprits (A few sites that I frequent):

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
http://www.probuilds.net/
http://www.newgrounds.com/
And occasionally certain anime streaming websites

The Close: I'd just like to know if it might be a component of mine or if I have something off in my browser's settings.

Addendum: Thank you in advance!

Solution
Disable system restore.
Install https://www.malwarebytes.org/ , trail and update antivirus base.
When you update malwarebytes restart sistem to safe mode.
Run malwarebytes from safe mode quick scan, if you got nothing go with full scan.
Delete in safe mode all files in C:/ Windows/TEMP folder or use CCleaner to delete temporary files for all browsers, also and cookies.
Check if you have some plugins which you don't install manualy. Reinstall Chrome or Mozilla and check last version.
