Should I get a new GPU or SLI my old one?

Games Played:
World of Warcraft
Heroes and Generals
League of Legends
ARMA III
*Also often multitask, watching youtube/movies on one screen while playing games on another.

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 780, 3GB GDDR5 (GPU Boost 2.0,ACX Cooler)

------------------------------
Other Specs:
MB: ASUS A558M-PLUS
CPU: AMD A8-5600K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
Monitor: BenQ 1920x1080, 144Hz
Power: Corsair RM850
RAM: 8Gig Kingston HyperX RAM
Windows 7
-----------------------------

Why I want to upgrade:
I want to upgrade to a crazy monitor:
Something 1440p or 4K
35in panel, preferrably with G-Sync or FreeSync.
120Hz or 144z+
*And I want to be able to run games at a higher than 90FPS

*Also, I cannot seem to play ARMA III or DayZ for some god awful reason (FPS issues). I was told that this was because ARMA III is optimized for Intel but runs like shit on AMD processors.

Will SLI'ing my great performing 780 just be a monster or should I get another solo card?

Solution
That APU isn't for a modern gaming rig. The problem isn't so much it being an AMD chip so much as it's:

1) an APU not a CPU (and not even an A10 model at that)
and
2) old

You're likely going to need a new motherboard and processor to get a worthwhile upgrade in GPU territory.

That said, you could try getting an R9 nano or Fury and seeing if you can pull out 90fps 1440p when it's matched with that APU. If it can't it's your processor's fault.

Thanks for the advice gents.
I will be upgrading my barebones as well. Basically I guess it will have to be a new rig entirely.

The Fury X and the GTX 980Ti do look like the way to go for 1440p 90FPS
